Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about your gear and protection.

How do I determine the correct helmet size for my head?

To find your perfect fit, wrap a measuring tape around the widest part of your head, approximately one inch above your eyebrows. Compare your measurement to the size chart on our product pages to select between Small, Medium, or Large.

Are Bern helmets certified for both cycling and snow sports?

Many of our models feature All-Season certification, meeting both CPSC and EN 1078 standards for bike and skate, as well as EN 1077B standards for snow. Please check the specific product specifications for the 'All-Season' badge.

What is your return policy for helmets?

We offer a 30-day return policy for all unused helmets in their original packaging with tags attached. Please note that for safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on helmets that have been involved in an accident or show signs of wear.

How often should I replace my helmet?

We recommend replacing your helmet every 3 to 5 years depending on usage. However, if you are involved in a crash or notice any cracks in the inner foam liner, you should replace the helmet immediately as the structural integrity may be compromised.

Do you offer international shipping?

Yes, we ship to most countries worldwide. Shipping costs and delivery timelines are calculated at checkout based on your location and the weight of your order.

Can I wash the interior liners of my helmet?

Yes, most Bern liners are removable and machine washable. We recommend washing them on a cold, gentle cycle and allowing them to air dry to maintain the shape and integrity of the padding.
